What is Hunters Ale?
Simple question. What is Hunters Ale and what is it used for? It looks like Red Dye. Simple enough!!

I did drink it, and it made the screen look all warped and fuzzy. Funny thing is, I'm in post sear now and every time I stop moving in a town (not sure about outside - 'cause I never stop running) the screen gets all warped and fuzzy. Funny as hell if you ask me. I just hope it doesn't ave any adverse affects later in the game.

So, it gets you drunk, right? Like when you get poisoned in Final Fantasy for the NES. The screen gets all fuzzy and you take damage.

I went to the bear hunters but none of them gave me the timed quest...then all of a sudden out of the blue, the timer started but I didn't have a clue what I was supposed to be doing! There were no bear around anyway. This was during the last BWE so maybe they've ironed out the bugs now.

You have to wait for them to end their conversation, or their game, and then they talk to you. You dont have to even click on them, they talk to you if you are in the area. Same thing with finishing the quest, you have to wait until they are done.

Usually the bear is to the East of them so make sure you don`t kill it before they start the timer. Sometimes the bear isn`t there though.

I just did this (for lack of a better deffinition) "quest" today and heres what I did.
1) Went out from Fort Ranuk and follow the road to the right. 2) Just before the bridge, take a left and head out into the rough. 3) There are some Spiders and Wolves to fight and if you hold down your Alt key, it will show the Hunters. 4) Just click on any of the hunters and they will talk about killing a bear. 5) Once they are done, you will get a timer. There are two bears in this area, just head out and kill one. 6) Return to and click on the hunter you first spoke to and he will give you the ale. 7) Click on any one of the other Hunters and again, they will speak about killing bears. 8) Rince and repeat from step 5 for the 2nd bear and the 2nd ale. Unfortunately, the ale does not stack so make sure you have the inventory space. |
